Education to Dabbawala in association with YCMOU: Almost 85% Dabbawalas are illiterate & remaining 15 % are hardly literate up to 8 to 10 standard. By experiencing need of education in today’s fast moving life Dabbawala foundation initiate free education system to Dabbawalas so that they can improve their standard of living, understand their future need & fulfill it.

Accident Insurance to Dabbawala for 5 years: Dabbawala do hard to meet on time delivery, during war time (i.e. 9.30 am to 12.30 am) all signals i.e. traffic signal, railway crossing, zebra crossing everything used to crossed by Dabbawalas due which there is possibility of accident occur, hence we started to provide accident insurance to Dabbawalas for 5 years

Share my Dabba : We have initiate one project Share My Dabba in which we are using this food for feeding the street child / slum dwellers with permission of customer. So that food is not getting waste & no one will go hungry.

National Pension Scheme to Dabbawala: There was no pension to Dabbawala during his old age. Hence we started NPS (National Pension Scheme) so that Dabbawala can meet his financial need during his old age.

Free Medical checkup of Dabbawala: Dabbawala is a symbol of hard work, he used to run on street of Mumbai in hot waves to deliver Dabba, due to heavy work Dabbawala suffers lots of medical problem like Back pain, blood pressure hence we organized free medical check up to Dabbawalas & free medicines to them. Also we had organized free eye testing camp to Dabbawalas.

Microfinance to Dabbawalas from Swatantra Micro Finance “Aaditya Birla”: Dabbawala are belonging to small villages having very poor financial background. So that there are lots difficulties to get loan from banks hence we have joint hands with Swatantra Micro Finance Private Ltd to offer micro finance to Dabbawalas to meet their business requirement. Also providing financial training.
